Swimming season is here. Every child is encouraged to take part in the 10 “Water Skills For Life” sessions which take part in our school pool. We have a few spare togs and towels that children can use if they forget to bring their own for these sessions. If your child has togs they no longer fit we would love to add them to our boxes or gift them to children who do not have togs.
Eden Albert Sports. Shortly Year 5 & 6 swimmers will start training for the Eden Albert Swimming Competion. Sam Lyons will be asking for competent freestyle, backstroke and breastroke swimmers to trial next week. We will also have cricket and touch teams representing us this term. If you would like to support us by coaching a team, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Wheels Days will be happening in Weeks 4 and 8 this term. Rimu team have their Wheels Day on the Thursday while Pūriri and Kauri have their Wheels Day on the Friday. A reminder will come home in the newsletter for those weeks.
